ISLAMABAD: Chairman Kashmir Committee Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon has reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue, underscoring the need for a diplomatic solution aligned with the United Nations Charter and global law.
He said that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his main speech at 79th session of United Nations General Assembly has very effectively advocated the Kashmir cause warned New Delhi of strong reply in case of any aggression towards Islamabad.
Following the abrogation of special status of Kashmir on August 5, 2019, New Delhi is using different tactics to change the demography of Occupied Kashmir, he further added.

The Chairman Kashmir Committee stressed that it is the duty of world to take notice of Indian brutalities in IIOJK and implement UN resolutions by giving right of plebiscite.
He strongly condemned the so-called polls being held in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir because such steps can never pacify the oppressed Kashmiris who were stripped of their special status and rights by New Delhi’s “constitutional terrorism” on August 5, 2019.
He said that Islamabad has always politically, morally, and diplomatically supported the Kashmir cause as well as highlighted this issue on all global forums.
