ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) plans to launch a new modern residential scheme exclusively for overseas Pakistanis at Mauza Kuri in the federal capital.
“Spreading 14,000 kanals along Kuri Road, adjacent to Park Road, the new scheme will be reserved exclusively for overseas Pakistanis,” a CDA official told APP on Sunday.
The official said the plots under the scheme will be marketed and sold to overseas Pakistanis in US dollars, contributing to the country’s foreign exchange reserves.
He said that at the initial stage the CDA has given approval to the relevant authorities to appoint the project consultant as per the decision taken during the meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Capt (r) Anwar ul Haque.
The official said the appointed consultant will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the scheme and conducting various major studies, including those related to environmental impact, traffic management and hydrology.
He further said that the consultant will design infrastructure, road development to ensure that all modern amenities are seamlessly integrated into the scheme.
