LONDON: In the wake of Kanye West’s recent comment labeling her as an “Illuminati plant,” Cardi B has issued a stern message to her detractors, urging them to leave her alone and focus on her music. During an Instagram live session, the celebrated rapper hinted at possessing concrete evidence (“receipts”) that could potentially stir controversy online.
Addressing her haters, Cardi B started the video by cautioning them, stating, “I come with receipts.” She went on to suggest that these “receipts” had the potential to create chaos on the internet.
“I have matured, so let me keep it cute. I literally got real receipts with dates,” she added. “So leave me alone, because y’all not gonna be ready for that.”
Cardi B Targets Kayne West
Although it remains unclear specifically who her comments are directed towards, many speculate that Kanye West is the primary target. However, Cardi B’s words seem to encompass more than one individual.
“Let me mind my business, let me keep working, let me be a mom, let me keep putting music out. Don’t try to bring Belcalis [Cardi B’s real name] out,” she emphasized. “Love Cardi B, don’t bring Belcalis. Leave me there, ok?”
Cardi B, aged 30, had previously responded to West’s accusations in an unreleased 2018 documentary. In her rebuttal, she shared West’s own words from 2022 when he expressed his belief in her talent, stating, “I always believed in her.”
