ISLAMABAD: The police in the capital city of Islamabad have sought approval from the Interior Ministry to recruit 550 cops for the security of all courts in Islamabad and maintain vigilance around there.
According to the police sources, the department approached the Ministry of Interior to hire 550 police persons to enhance the security of all the courts in the city. Special security arrangements could be made for the security of the District Courts in the capital, and high vigilance to be ensured there.

According to the APP, all the guards and drivers of Islamabad police are getting training to combat violence and terrorism. Capital police took these decisions in view of the growing terrorist activities and to put in place fool-proof security in the city.
He said a total of 50 more CCTV cameras had also been installed in different areas in Islamabad to enhance vigilance during the previous three days. Islamabad Police said, after the assessment of the monitoring and security system in the capital, the department had installed more cameras. — APP
