ISLAMABAD: A large number of Canadian Mining Companies have shown keen interest in exploring mining opportunities in Balochistan province, local media reported on Sunday.
Mr. David Thompson, Chairman of Tytan Copper Corporation told the media that after the success of Pakistan Mineral Summit the Canadian companies have decided to enter and explore the huge potential of mineral resources in Balochistan province.
He added that the company has the support and facilitation from the Government of Pakistan.
Canadian Mining Companies Keen to Invest in Balochistan
The CEO of Conductor Metals Canada, Gino Biamonte, said his company wants to explore copper reserves in Balochistan and in this regard, they are ready to work with the government and people to bring prosperity to the region.
The Country Head – Pakistan of Pana Copper Canada said Pakistan’s Mineral Forum gave a unique platform for business leaders to interact, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for cooperation.
He also said that his company would bring foreign expertise to promote technology transfer to local experts and create employment opportunities in Balochistan.
The Pakistan Mineral Forum helped different companies to gather for discussions and establish new paths for business-to-business cooperation.
