Canadian Company Shows Interest in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mining Sector

PESHAWAR: A Canadian company, Tytan Copper, has expressed its keen interest in investing in the exploration and mining of the precious natural resources of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 

The proposal was put forth during a meeting between a Tytan Copper delegation led by Chairman David Michal Thompson and the Caretaker Minister for Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education (IC&TE), Dr. Aamir Abdullah, at the Civil Secretariat.

The discussion also involved the participation of Secretary Mines and Mineral Department Hamidullah Shah and Director (Exploration) Mohammad Aamir, along with other relevant officials.

Tytan Copper representatives elaborated on their mineral sector activities and expressed their eagerness to invest in the sector, particularly focusing on copper reserves.

Canadian Company’s Potential Investment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Dr. Aamir Abdullah welcomed their interest in mining sector investments and pledged to provide them with all necessary support. 

He assured the delegation that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade (KP-BoIT) would extend full facilitation to them. The provincial government’s initiative to establish mineral-specific industrial zones in mineral-rich areas to support local investors was also highlighted during the meeting.

The delegation received a comprehensive briefing on investment opportunities and the availability of natural resources in various locations.
