KARACHI: In a significant development for potential passengers between Pakistan and Canada, a private Canadian airline has shown intent to operate in Pakistan, local media reported on Tuesday.
The private airline plans to initiate its services in August, opening up new avenues for air travel between Pakistan and Canada. As per the details, the Canadian airline ZARA Airways intends to operate direct passenger flights from Toronto, Canada to Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad in Pakistan after necessary paper work is done. The private airline will operate three weekly direct flights from Canada to Pakistan. The Canadian private airline has submitted a formal request to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan, seeking approval for its bid.
