Cabinet Agrees to Rename Federal Government as ‘Federal Authority’

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet on Tuesday agreed to the proposal to change the definition of the Federal Government and rename it as ‘Federal Authority’.

The federal cabinet held a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The panel discussed the 5-point agenda and ratified the decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee, a local TV reported.

The Ministry of Energy informed the cabinet about the measures to prevent electricity theft and line losses in the country.

The aviation, cabinet, climate change, commerce, and communication divisions presented their reports in the meeting.
