ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi, the wife of founder of PTI Imran Khan, has been freed from Adiala jail on Thursday, local media reported.
A Special Central Judge in Islamabad had issued order about the release of Bushra Bibi in the Toshakhana II case. After this, the court officials delivered the release warrant to officials of Adiala Jail.
Security around Adiala Jail was also placed on high alert, with fresh police forces deployed at Gate 5 of the prison.
The jail officials also completed the necessary legal procedures following receiving the release order, after which the wife of PTI leader was released formally.
Earlier, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday had also granted bail to Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana-II case and also ordered to release her from Adiala jail.
