SWAT, Pakistan: In two separate incidents, passengers on board buses in Swat and Karachi experienced accidents resulting in multiple injuries.

The first accident occurred in Swat’s Kabal Kotlai, where a bus carrying wedding guests skidded off the road. This unfortunate incident left at least 29 passengers, including women and children, with various injuries.

The bus was on its way from Kabal to Ali Garam when the accident took place. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, rescue teams swiftly mobilized and reached the accident site. They promptly provided assistance and transported the injured individuals to Kabal Civil Hospital for initial medical attention.

Those with critical injuries were subsequently transferred to Saidu Sharif Central Hospital for more extensive medical care. Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident to determine its cause.

In Karachi, another accident unfolded near the Governor’s House. A high-speed passenger bus, carrying 30 passengers, including students, overturned, resulting in injuries to seven people, including two women.

Initial reports suggest that the bus driver was engaged with a mobile phone and was exceeding the speed limit, ultimately leading to the bus overturning. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to safety measures while operating public transportation.

These unfortunate accidents emphasize the significance of adhering to safety regulations and maintaining vigilance on the road to prevent such incidents and ensure the well-being of passengers.
