KARACHI: At least eight people have been killed and seven others wounded when a passenger bus rammed into a trailer truck on Sukkur-Multan motorway near Malook Wali village in Ghotki. The Motorway Police said that the bus was travelling from Mansehra to Karachi.
The police said that four wounded were in the critical condition, saying that the deceased included children and women as well. The dead bodies and wounded were immediately shifted to Tehsil Hospital Ghotki for medical treatment.
The rescue officials faced immense problem and troubles because of rain in rescue activity as well as identifying the bodies, they said. After the rescue activity, the debris of the bus and trailer were shifted to the rest area, according to the local police.
