ISLAMABAD: Investors propelled the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to fresh heights on Thursday as widespread buying across sectors drove the benchmark KSE-100 Index to a record close, signalling renewed market confidence.

KSE-100 Surges to Record Close

The KSE-100 Index ended at 157,953.46 points, up 1,775.65 points (1.14%) from the previous session. Total volume traded reached 1,959,100,058 shares, with traded value rising to PKR  56,931,158,966. The session recorded 547,621 trades across 485 active symbols, with 332 advancing, 124 declining, and 29 remaining unchanged.
