Bullish Run Continues for Gold, Up by Rs 750 to Close at Rs 215,200 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD:  After an increase of over Rs3000 during the last four days, the price of per tola 24 karats of gold witnessed a further increase by Rs 750, settling at Rs 215,200 on Wednesday, against Rs 214,450 on the last trading day.

Meanwhile, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Association, the rates for 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal also rose by Rs 644 to reach Rs 184,500 from the previous day’s rate of Rs 183,856, while the prices of 10 grams of the 22 karats of the yellow metal increased to Rs 169,124 from Rs 168,535.

However, the price per tola and ten-gram of silver remained unchanged at Rs 2,570 and Rs 2,203.36, respectively.

Gold Price in International Market

In the international market, similar to the local bullion market, the price of gold also increased by $6, settling at $2,048 per ounce. However, recently, after experiencing a significant decline of over $35 in the first and second weeks of February, the price of gold in the international market increased by over $20 per ounce during the last few days.

The price of gold in the local market is mostly affected by the price in the international market.”
