LONDON: British Moroccan actress Laila Rouass made a bold statement in a dress printed with the keffiyeh as she participated in the premiere of “The Edge of Everything,” a documentary regarding her spouse, seven-time World Snooker Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan. Rouass used the occasion to express her solidarity with people of Palestine in the Gaza Strip.
She told the media that she had been deeply suffered by the Israeli violence in Gaza. She said: “There is not a minute in the entire day where I do not think regarding it, where it does not cut me. I am looking at the news stories, hoping these media workers, doctors and health workers that we have fallen in love with have not been murdered or bombed.
