ISLAMABAD: British Foreign Secretary David Lammy arrived in Islamabad on Friday for talks with Pakistani leaders on tension between Pakistan and India and future talks.
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Ishaq Dar met with the UK Foreign Secretary, Lammy on Friday in Islamabad, a Foreign Office spokesman Shafaqat Ali Khan said in a statement.
Regional developments discussed
The two leaders discussed regional developments, including Pakistan-India ceasefire.
The DPM/FM appreciated the UK’s constructive role in de-escalation.
They also reviewed bilateral ties and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen relations and enhance economic and trade cooperation.
