ISLAMABAD: British High Commissioner in Pakistan, Jane Marriott, held a meeting with Pakistan’s newly appointed caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani in Islamabad on Friday.

The British High Commissioner Jane Marriott extended congratulations to Jalil Abbas Jilani for assuming the office of FM.

Jilani, who assumed his position earlier today, also extended warm wishes to Jane Marriott on her appointment as British High Commissioner in Pakistan, a role she took on last month.

During their meeting, both sides exchanged thoughts on enhancing bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, climate change, and people-to-people relations.
The Foreign Minister and the British High Commissioner explored avenues for further mutual collaboration across various sectors between the two countries.
