NEW DELHI: A day ahead of ‘Black Day’, an improvised explosive device was found in Baramulla district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on Monday, reported international media.
According to reports the bomb was found in a bag near a college in the Kanispora area of the district.
The development refutes the claims of occupied forces that the situation is peaceful in the valley.
Kashmiris set to observe Back Day
The local population of the IIOJK has never accepted the Indian illegal occupation of the disputed Kashmir region and is ready to observe Independence Day of India as ‘Blak Day’ to protest Indian brutalities and atrocities in the area.
In separate statements issued in Srinagar, Kashmiri organizations have announced to observe India’s Independence Day as a sombre occasion, reflecting their strong dissent against India’s presence and control over their homeland.
A spokesman for the Jammu and Kashmir National Front stated that observing India’s Independence Day as a Black Day is a powerful protest against India’s usurpation of Kashmir and its denial of fundamental rights to the Kashmiri people.
He emphasized that India, which has occupied Kashmir against the will of its people, has no moral grounds to celebrate its own independence.
Earlier, on August 5, Kashmiris residing on both sides of the Line of Control and other parts of the world marked Youm-e-Istehsal, to record their protest against Narendra Modi-led Hindutva Indian government’s illegal and unilateral action taken on that day in 2019.
The Modi-led government, on August 5, 2019, revoked the special status of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, aiming to fulfil the agenda of Hindutva. It was aimed to turn the Muslim majority in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir into a minority.
