ISLAMABAD: Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) is releasing the 4th quarterly tranche of Benazir Kafaalat cash assistance today (Monday).
In a statement, Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Shazia Marri called upon the registered beneficiaries to receive Rs 9000.
She has directed the concerned officials to ensure transparency through strict monitoring and vigilance.
The Minister has asked the monitoring teams to supervise the cash disbursement process and ensure stern action on complaint of leakage or deduction from beneficiaries’ cash.
She asked the beneficiaries to immediately report to BISP’s toll-free helpline 0800-26477 in case of an issue.
In addition to Benazir Kafaalat cash assistance, Benazir Taleemi Wazaif’s stipend installment from January to March is also being disbursed to 6.7 million eligible school-going students with at least 70% attendance.
