Bilawal Bhutto Condemns Attack On School Van in Swat

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a school van in Swat.

In a statement issued here, he said that targeting innocent children was the lowest form of brutality. “We are determined to protect every citizen including our children, the accused will be brought to justice,” Bilawal Bhutto said and prayed for the speedy recovery of the student injured in the attack.

He also expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the family of the van driver, who was killed in the attack’.

The slain driver, Hussain Ahmed, who was on the pick and drop duty of Swat Public School and The Knowledge City School, when he came under attack from unidentified assailants in the Charbagh area of Swat on Monday. According to police, the van driver was the target. According to police, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

The firing on the school van in Swat has left children and parents in a state of fear. A case has been registered against unidentified men for attacking on the school bus.
