ISLAMABAD: A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial has been delisted abruptly, putting off all 12 cases scheduled to be taken up by the bench on Wednesday.
The registrar Supreme Court has issued a notification to ‘delist’ the bench also consisting of Justice Jamal Mandokhel and Justice Athar Minallah. The three-member bench was scheduled to hear at least 12 cases on Wednesday (today).
The cause list of bench no 2 comprising Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Shahid Waheed has also been cancelled. A new bench comprising Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Aminuddin Khan has been constituted to hear all the cases of bench no 2.
Bench 3 comprising Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Ayesha Malik and Justice Shahid Waheed has been constituted.
Bench no 4 comprising Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi has been constituted.
