ISTANBUL: Belarus’ foreign minister will visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a two-day official trip on January 7-8.
Belarus’ Foreign Ministry on Friday in a statement that the main focus of the visit will be comprehensive discussions between Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik and his Saudi counterpart Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

The visit will include various meetings involving the Belarusian delegation with Saudi ministries, agencies, and representatives from the country’s business community, the statement noted.
Moreover, both sides will address key issues within the bilateral and multilateral agenda, with a specific emphasis on trade and economic collaboration, the strengthening of political ties, and the further development of the legal framework.
The statement also highlighted that discussions will extend to cover topics such as food security, the regional situation, and global affairs at large. The diplomatic visit aims to foster understanding and cooperation between Belarus and Saudi Arabia across a range of important areas.
