ISLAMABAD: A joint manufacturing plant for Belarus Tractor is set to be established in Pakistan, following an agreement reached during a meeting between Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain and a Belarusian delegation in Islamabad today.
The delegation included Belarusian Deputy Ministers for Agriculture and Industry. The two sides also agreed to a joint venture for vaccine production in Pakistan and initiatives for training and capacity building of agricultural engineers in machinery design.
Furthermore, Belarus plans to establish agricultural machinery testing centers in Pakistan and intends to set up plants for veterinary medicines.
During the meeting, Rana Tanveer Hussain emphasized Pakistan’s desire to enhance bilateral cooperation with Belarus in the industry, agriculture, and livestock sectors.
He advocated for greater access to Pakistani fruits in the Belarusian market and expressed Pakistan’s readiness to facilitate investment in veterinary medicines.
