MINSK: Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko emphasized the importance of implementing all agreements with Bashkortostan during the opening ceremony of the Belarus-Bashkortostan Business Forum.

Golovchenko highlighted the substantial progress made in bilateral relations, with numerous visits and the signing of over 60 documents, agreements, and action plans in 2023.

Notably, Golovchenko highlighted the successful implementation of landmark projects, including the opening of a plant for producing grain drying complexes and the launch of the AMKODOR-Alga plant for special-purpose and earthmoving equipment production. Plans are underway to establish a large-scale production and service center for AMKODOR to enhance aftersales services.

Additionally, joint production of trolleybuses and electric buses at the Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant using MAZ machinery components under the Gorozhanin brand marks another significant collaboration. Golovchenko expressed optimism about further development and localization of Belarusian machinery production in Bashkortostan, anticipating demand across Russia.

The Belarus-Bashkortostan Business Forum serves as a platform for fostering deeper economic cooperation, promoting trade, and exploring new avenues for collaboration between the two regions.
