ISLAMABAD: BB Energy, an independent energy trading company on Thursday expressed interest to develop a strategic business relationship with Pakistan and provide affordable LNG and petroleum products to the country.
Ishaq Dar, Minister for Finance and Revenue, held a meeting with BB Energy’s delegation led by its Group Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Bassatne.
Bassatne extended his gratitude to the finance minister and shared the company’s business profile and business.
Company’s investment in energy sector
He apprised the finance minister of the current investment of the company in the energy sector. He also expressed interest in further expanding business in the country.
Dar welcomed the delegation and shared the financial outlook of the country.
He said that the government inherited a weak economic legacy but was focused on fixing things and was introducing reforms in all fields to achieve economic growth and development.
He added that due to the pragmatic steps, the country was once again destined for progress and prosperity.
