ISLAMABAD: Central Amir, Tanzeem-e-Islami Pakistan Shuja-ud-Din Sheikh, has strongly condemned the recent devastating Israeli attacks on innocent Palestinian civilians that left thousands of innocent Palestinians martyred and injured during the last only one week. He added that these attacks aimed at none other than establishing greater Israil in the Middle East. He demanded the international community, especially the human rights watchdogs, should take immediate notice of the severe human rights violations in the war-torn area.

Addressing a protest demonstration outside the Islamabad Press Club and later during a press conference, the Central Amir of Tanzeem-e-Islami Pakistan said that during the last six days, more than 6,000 bombs weighing 4,000 tons were dropped on the civilian population in Gaza that brought death and destruction to the war-hit region. He further said that these atrocities continued unabated for the last seventy-five years, but ironically, the international community remained mum over it.

Expressing his deep concern over the indifferent attitude of the international community towards the atrocities of Israeli forces in Palestine, the Amir remarked it was probably part of the bigger game. Amir Tanzeem-e-Islami urged the international community to come forward and play their due role in giving peace a chance.

Israel’s Human Rights Violations in Palestine

He also urged the human rights watchdogs to unearth the severe human rights violations and play their role in educating the masses and informing the relevant forums about the atrocities being inflicted on innocent Palestinians. The human crisis in Palestine was an eye-opener for the international community, but there still seems to be a lack of proper agenda and mechanism on how to deal with the issue.

The Amir urged the Muslim Umma to get their voices heard on all the relevant forums and save the human crises and tragedy from being developed. It was a litmus test for the Muslim umma in particular if they stand up for their Muslim brothers in destress or put their souls on sale for the sake of dollars and worldly gains, he added. Shujauddin Sheikh asked his countrymen, particularly the religious parties, to come forward and help their Muslim brothers who are fighting for the sake of the Islamic cause materially. The last available option with them is to keep them in their prayers, Shuj-Ud-din Sheikh said.
