ISLAMABAD: Efforts are underway to actively engage the youth of Balochistan in various sports and healthy activities to encourage their participation in national development.
These initiatives are gradually diminishing the sense of deprivation within the province.
These positive and health-promoting activities have led Baloch youth to become proactive contributors to Pakistan’s construction and development, integrating them into the national fabric.
In districts such as Kalat, Hub, Kohlu, Lasbela, Kech, and Loralai, several football matches were organized, drawing the enthusiastic participation of approximately 2,659 people. Similarly, cricket matches in districts like Nushki, Khuzdar, Chagai, Surab, Loralai, Panjgur, Nasirabad, Kech, and Kohlu saw over 4,600 spectators in attendance.
Career Guidance Sessions for Youth
Career guidance sessions were also conducted in Gwadar, Kech, and Hub districts, with around 850 Baloch youth actively participating. Additionally, more than 600 students engaged in speech competitions on various topics in districts like Kohlu, Hub, and Lasbela. During these competitions, many Baloch students delivered speeches highlighting the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces.
A special event commemorating the September War was organized, where the courageous sacrifices of Pakistan Army soldiers and officers were acknowledged. A community program was also arranged to recognize the pivotal role played by the armed forces in Balochistan.
In the Kech district, a seminar focusing on Islamic teachings was held, attended by approximately 130 individuals. Furthermore, a youth talent program took place in the Gwadar district, attracting the participation of over 200 individuals.
Career counseling sessions were conducted in the Kech district, with 250 youth attending to gain insights into their future prospects. In another event, 120 participants joined a program related to cleanliness, organized in Kech district.
