Bahrain’s King Hamad Commends Strong Bilateral Ties with Pakistan

MANAMA: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has hailed the solid relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Pakistan. During a meeting with General (retd) Ehsan ul Haq, former Chairman of Pakistan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, he emphasized the strength of bilateral cooperation across various sectors, particularly in military and defense.

The meeting took place in Bahrain, with the presence of General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the National Guard President. King Hamad warmly welcomed General (retd) Ehsan and recognized his efforts in promoting military and defense cooperation between Bahrain and Pakistan.

In recognition of his contributions, King Hamad bestowed the Order of Bahrain medal upon General (retd) Ehsan. The prestigious award symbolizes appreciation for his significant role in advancing the relations between Bahrain and Pakistan.

Relations Between Pakistan and Bahrain

General (retd) Ehsan expressed his gratitude to King Hamad for the honor and extended his appreciation for the King’s instrumental role in the development of Bahraini-Pakistani relations. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to strengthen their ties further and explore opportunities for increased cooperation across various domains.

The solid bilateral relations between Bahrain and Pakistan have facilitated collaboration in multiple sectors, including military and defense. Both nations have demonstrated a commitment to mutual cooperation and have engaged in productive exchanges to enhance their partnership.
