Bahrain envoy Aldoseri said, “We are happy to donate the profits to demonstrate that we support Japan and its citizens.” The president of the charity expressed his “Sincere appreciation for the donation.” Seike Atsushi added: “People are facing problems due to several reasons, including natural hardships, natural reasons, social isolation and so on. Of course, authorities should be able to support, but there is still a lot of space for the community to provide support and relief for those confronting difficulties. So, your charity is vital and we deeply laud it.”

But, the president said, the contribution was not just regarding the cash collected at the bazaar: “It is not just a gift, for there is also the very valuable flow of warmth from your minds and hearts to support people. This is why your contribution is very precious.”

In response, the ambassador of Bahrain said on behalf of the ambassadors, “There is a huge responsibility also placed upon embassies and diplomatic staff, too. As ambassadors we have to share the suffering of people, we have to support, we have to do anything we can to assist the friendly people of Japan, as the three of us, all of our nations, have most excellent, good ties with Japan, and its people.”
