MANAMA: Bahrain has asked its national to adhere to an advisory issued by the Foreign Ministry, cautioning them against traveling to Lebanon for their protection and safety, Arab media reported on Sunday.

In a statement, Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry said that it called on all Bahraini nationals not to travel to Lebanon due to security reasons. The Ministry calling for their citizens leave Lebanon for their safety and protection, the statement maintained.

It added that citizens are needed to contact the Bahrain Embassy in Syria for help in case of emergencies. The call follows same statements issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Kuwait, the UK, and Germany.
The decision comes in the wake of clashes in the camp between the two groups, resulting in the deaths of 13 people, security sources said.
