ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam has retained 3rd position in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Test batter rankings.
According to the latest ranking released by the ICC, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson remains number one in the rankings, while England’s Joe Root is in the 2nd spot. England’s Harry Brooke moved up three places to seventh, and England’s Zac Crowley moved up 3 places to 13th.
Ravichandran Ashwin of India remains number one among Test bowlers, the ICC said. England’s James Anderson concluded his Test career at number 8 while Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi is at number 9 in the Test bowling rankings.
