ISLAMABAD: The Sydney Sixers have added a fresh twist to Babar Azam’s jersey number ahead of the 15th edition of the Big Bash League (BBL), fuelling excitement among fans.
The franchise revealed that the star Pakistan batter, known for wearing number 56, will now sport a unique variation, 056, for the upcoming season.

In a creative move, the Sixers decided to add an extra layer of style to the jersey numbers of Babar Azam and Australian pacer Mitchell Starc, both of whom have become synonymous with the number 56.
While Starc will retain his classic 56, Babar will wear 056 this season to distinguish the two high-profile players.
