LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team’s adventure to Australia has started with several members of the squad already departing to play the upcoming white-ball series against Australia.

The returning trio of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam, and Naseem Shah were the notable names on the first flight to Australia with the rest of the players set to join them on Tuesday, local media reported.

The trio was widely likely to make their international returns following being dropped from the recently ended test series against English team.

Pakistan cricket team is also scheduled to start its preparations for the three ODIs and three T20I series in Melbourne from November 1st with the first match set to be played on November 4th.

Pakistan will start its new life under the skipper of Mohammad Rizwan as they look to earn a first T20I series victory against the hosts since 2018 and a first ODI series victory since 2022.
