GEORGIA: The citizens of Azerbaijan living in Georgia have held a protest rally outside the European Union Tbilisi office on the initiative of the House of Azerbaijan, local media reported on Sunday.
Azerbaijanis Stage Protest Outside EU Office
As per details, the protest demonstrators held up slogans such as “End environmental terrorism by Armenia”, “Stop Armenian terror”, and “End discrimination and double standards!”, as well as “Justice for Khojaly!”.
Head of the “House of Azerbaijan” Mahabbat Imanov said that the protest action was held to demand for an end to the biased stance of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and Armenian lies. As per the local media reports, hundreds of Azerbaijanis have joined the peaceful protest rally in support of their demands.
