BAKU: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has said that Armenia should reciprocate Baku’s peace efforts in the region.
He was addressing at the Foreign Minister’s Meeting of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council” during his working visit to Uzbekistan, Trend reported.
During his speech, Bayramov provided a comprehensive overview of the current regional situation in the post-conflict period, highlighting the extensive reconstruction and construction efforts undertaken in the territories liberated from Armenian occupation, as well as the ongoing challenges posed by landmines.
He also discussed the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Expressing gratitude to all partners who supported Azerbaijan’s position during nearly 30 years of Armenian occupation, Bayramov acknowledged their contributions to the reconstruction and demining efforts in the post-conflict period.
It’s worth noting that Jeyhun Bayramov, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, is attending the Foreign Minister’s Meeting of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council” as a guest of honor for the first time.
