Azerbaijan to Join Five-Nation Army Exercises in Kazakhstan

ASTANA: Kazakhstan’s Defense Minister, Ruslan Zhaksylykov, has announced that the country is set to host extensive army exercises involving the participation of five nations—Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, according to Azernews.

The upcoming large-scale military exercises are designed to bolster cooperation and coordination among the participating countries, fostering a collaborative approach to regional security. Defense Minister Zhaksylykov emphasized the importance of maintaining strong ties between these brotherly nations and their armed forces to collectively address the imperative task of ensuring security in the Central Asian region.

“This year on the territory of our country will be held large-scale exercises with the participation of five states, which should be held at a high organizational level. It is extremely important for us to preserve friendly relations between brotherly nations and armed forces to fulfill the task of ensuring security in the Central Asian region,” noted Minister Zhaksylykov.
