Azerbaijan, GCC Adopt Joint Action Plan for 2024-2028

BAKU: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi has said that a joint plan of action for the years 2024-2028 has been adopted together with Azerbaijan, which will strengthen the strategic ties between the two sides and help them achieve common targets, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.

According to the SPA, the GCC chief made the announcement during a meeting he held with Azeri Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku.

According to the Secretary General, the action plan covers several areas, including trade and political cooperation, energy and investment opportunities. He stated that the GCC nations are committed to building and strengthening their ties with countries and blocs at regional and global level, stressing that the GCC nations are particularly interested in boosting relations with Azerbaijan, in the interest of the two sides.
