BAKU, Azerbaijan: As Azerbaijan gears up for its extraordinary presidential elections scheduled for February 7, preparations are underway to facilitate the electoral rights of Azerbaijani citizens residing in foreign countries.
Polling stations are being established in diplomatic missions and consulates to accommodate Azerbaijani voters abroad, in line with the Election Code.
According to regulations, polling stations are set up in diplomatic missions and consulates where the number of consularly registered voters exceeds 50. This initiative aims to ensure the participation of overseas Azerbaijani citizens in the upcoming presidential elections.
