SYDNEY: The Pakistan cricket squad participated in an event hosted by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at Canberra’s Parliament House. The Australian team was equally extended an invitation to join. Mr Albanese warmly greeted both teams, expressing his anticipation for an engaging Test series between Pakistan and PM XI. He acknowledged the Pakistani side as a formidable team.
Amidst the event, Pakistan Test skipper Shan Masood conveyed his thoughts, acknowledging Australia’s strength while confidently affirming his team’s preparedness to confront the challenge head-on.

Australia and Pakistan are scheduled to have their inaugural test match at Perth Stadium on Dec 14, followed by the second match at the Melbourne Cricket Stadium spanning from Dec 26 to Dec 30. The final match is slated for January 3 to January 7 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
