ISLAMABAD: Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins has said that cooperation between Australia and Pakistan is growing in the dairy sector.
During an exclusive interview with a local TV channel, he said that 1500 Australian cattle will be imported into the province of Punjab in the next few months.
The High Commissioner added that Australia is providing assistance to Pakistan to enhance agricultural productivity. He stressed the significance of supporting small rural landholders, saying this ultimately improves their livelihoods.
He reiterated that Australia will continue to collaborate with Pakistani universities, small farmers, and researchers.
