ISLAMABAD:  The Australian Cricket Team has arrived in Pakistan in two separate batches ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Coaches, skipper Steve Smith, and support staff, arrived in Lahore via Dubai from Colombo. Smith, who will lead Australians, also landed in Pakistan, beginning their preparations.

The team will prepare for their opening match against England on February 22 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. This match will mark the start of Australia’s campaign in the ICC Champions Trophy.

According to local media reports, Australia’s Champions Trophy squad for 2025 includes Steve Smith (captain), Alex Carey, Sean Abbott, Nathan Ellis, Ben Dwarshuis, Aaron Hardie, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Josh Inglis, Travis Head, Marnus Labuschagne, Spencer Johnson, Tanveer Sangha, Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa, and Matthew Short. Cooper Connolly is the travelling reserve.
