ISLAMABAD/WASHINGTON: Austin Butler, the American actor, best known for his role as Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s movie “Elvis, has become a bit of an awards season favourite because people have noted the actor still sounds like the legendary late singer in interviews.

However, American actor and retired professional wrestler Dave Bautista has said Butler’s Elvis accent would not be used in the upcoming “Dune” sequel.

Bautista, who co-stars with Butler, told the US Today that he didn’t know who this guy was, but it was not Austin Butler. It’s not Elvis, his voice is different, and his look is different. Everything about his demeanour is terrifying.”

Bautista called the new Oscar nominee “just the sweetest guy you’ll ever meet.”

Austin Butler doesn’t think he sounds like Elvis

After being nominated for Oscar, Butler said he still did not think he sounds like Elvis Presley. But he guesses he must be because he hears it a lot. He said that he is sure there are pieces of his DNA that will always be linked to him (Elvis).

Bautista plays Glossu Rabban in the Dune movies, the nephew of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgård).

“There are a lot more layers to Rabban, and none of them are good,” Bautista said of his character. In the sequel, Feyd-Rautha is Rabban’s younger brother and Baron Harkonenn’s intended heir to the planet of Arrakis.
