ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan alleged on Monday that the recent attacks on state installations during the May 9 vandalism incidents were part of a “planned conspiracy” aimed at banning his political party.
In a video message shared on PTI’s official Twitter handle, the former premier urged the nation to resist this alleged conspiracy and emphasized the right to peaceful protest as a constitutional right.
Imran Khan urged the nation, “This is your time for true freedom. Do not waste it because such a time would not come again.” He further accused the electronic media of presenting a biased narrative that blames PTI for the incidents.
We have ample amount of evidence to present to any independent inquiry that the arson and in some places shootings were done by agencies men who wanted to cause mayhem and blame it on PTI so the current crackdown would be justified. https://t.co/pQAcz1v6WT pic.twitter.com/NVgM0FVEnv

Imran Khan calls for independent inquiry
Imran claimed that an independent inquiry would reveal that planted individuals executed the vandalism as part of a premeditated conspiracy.
The PTI chairman also raised concerns about the so-called “London Plan,” which he alleged involves his arrest and imprisonment for an extended period.
He suggested that the objective of this plan is to harass and intimidate PTI members to prevent them from participating in political activities.
Imran Khan criticized those involved in the alleged conspiracy, stating that they lack knowledge about history and politics.
