SRINAGAR: At least four Indian soldiers were killed and six others wounded in an attack on Indian Army convey in the Machhedi area of Kathua district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The injured soldiers were rushed to the hospital with the two said to be critical.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian Army convoy was targeted with an automatic rifle fire by unknown attackers.
Following the attack, Indian troops sealed off the area and initiated a large-scale cordon and search operation. Reinforcements were swiftly deployed to bolster the existing troops.
