ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and several other leaders of PTI, local media reported. According to media reports, the ATC declared PTI leader Umar Tanveer Butt a fugitive.
The court rejected Ali Amin’s pre-arrest bail plea, which was linked to a terrorism case involving the assault and vandalism at the Judicial Complex.
Ali Amin’s lawyer, Raja Zahoor Hassan, submitted an application seeking an exemption from CM’s appearance.
The ATC rejected the plea, noting that an absence request had also been made on September, 4 followed by Gandapur’s attendance at a public gathering on September 8.

After his absence, the court also denied Ali Amin’s bail peal and issued non-bailable warrants for Gandapur, Raja Rashid Hafeez, Wasif Qayyum Abbasi, and Amir Mehmood Kiani.
The ATC, however, accepted an exemption request from Faisal Javed and adjourned the case until 3rd October.
