LAHORE: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore granted an extension of interim bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday.
The bail extension, which applies to three cases connected to the May 9 vandalism incidents, including the notorious attack on Jinnah House and Askari Tower, has been approved by the Additional Sessions Judge.
During the court proceedings, Qureshi’s lawyer skillfully presented compelling arguments that led to the extension of interim bail until August 8 for the former Foreign Minister.
These cases have been registered against Shah Mehmood Qureshi at prominent police stations, namely Sarwar Road, Gulberg, and Race Course, according to local media.
