KYIV, Ukraine: Debris resulting from the downing of a drone by anti-aircraft units in the Belgorod region of southern Russia has tragically claimed three lives and left at least two individuals injured, as announced by the regional governor on Thursday.
Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, communicating through the Telegram messaging app, reported the destruction of a residence and the recovery of three victims—a man, a woman, and a child—from the debris.
As of now, two individuals are in critical condition in the hospital, and there is a possibility that a child remains trapped. Additionally, two other houses have suffered varying degrees of damage.
In his statement, Gladkov did not mention Ukraine, despite the heightened frequency of drone and missile attacks by Ukraine on targets in southern Russia and Russia-annexed Crimea.
