LONDON: At least 10 British citizens have been killed in the conflict between Israel and Hamas, with an additional six individuals still missing, junior British finance minister Victoria Atkins told on Tuesday.
In a separate interview, Atkins said the government’s concern that these six Britons might be held hostages.
“They are our absolute priority,” she told a news channel.
Hamas on Monday said it had released two Israeli women who were among the more than 200 hostages taken during its October 7 attack in southern Israel.
