NEW YORK: Ashley St. Clair, a 26-year-old MAGA influencer, has filed a paternity lawsuit against tech billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, seeking sole legal custody of her five-month-old son, according to court documents cited by Page Six.

St. Clair’s petition, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, alleges that she and Musk began a relationship in May 2023, and became intimate in early January 2024.

She claims that their encounter around January 2 and 3 led to her pregnancy. Although the child’s official birth date and name are redacted from the documents, the initial of the child’s name is noted as “R.”

In her filing, St. Clair expresses confidence that Musk is the father, stating that she had not been involved with any other man during the time she believes the child was conceived. The petition also requests the court to order a genetic test for Musk to confirm paternity.

As part of the lawsuit, St. Clair submitted a series of text messages to the court, which she asserts demonstrate her relationship with Musk and his acknowledgement of fatherhood.

One of the messages allegedly shows Musk’s response to a photo of St. Clair holding their newborn in the hospital. Musk is said to have replied, “I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend.”

The court documents also reveal that earlier this week, previously private messages between the two were made public, suggesting flirtatious discussions and intimate exchanges.

Despite the high-profile nature of the case, St. Clair clarified in her petition that she is not currently seeking child support from Musk but is requesting a temporary financial support order for the child.

This legal action comes after St. Clair made sensational claims in a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating that she had given birth to a child whose biological father is Elon Musk.

According to The New York Post, she filed two petitions requesting the court to grant her sole custody of the child, along with a formal declaration of Musk’s paternity.

St. Clair claims that the child was conceived during a trip to St. Barths in January 2024, and has included photos and text messages as evidence in the court filing.

One of the images shows Musk holding a baby, while several text exchanges illustrate their alleged relationship.

The lawsuit also claims that Musk was not present during the child’s birth and has only met the baby on three occasions—twice in Manhattan and once in Texas. St. Clair further asserts that Musk has never asked to see or receive any photos of the baby.

In a response included in the court documents, Musk reportedly shared concerns about receiving “credible death threats every day,” a situation that may have affected his involvement in the child’s life.

Musk, who also owns X and runs both SpaceX and Tesla, has children with three other women. Despite the ongoing media attention surrounding the paternity suit, he has yet to publicly address the allegations or the legal proceedings.
