Asbar World Forum Discusses Saudi Future Direction in Industry, Mining

ISLAMABAD: The Asbar World Forum held its tenth annual session in Riyadh and discussed the future direction of the industry and mining in Saudi Arabia.

Bandar Alkhorayef, the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, attended the forum as a special guest with other intellectuals and experts. Alkhorayef discussed Saudi Arabiya’s future direction in industry and mining, including planned ministry developments in investment, organization, and future projects, Arab News reported.

He underlined the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), one of the largest programs in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and highlighted its role in the country’s future.

Kingdom relies on industries

He said that Saudi Arabia relied on industries that adopted the concepts of the fourth industrial revolution, Artificial intelligence, and 3D printing, which helped achieve growth and create standard job opportunities for Saudis.

The forum honored the previous sessions’ members for their contributions to its events and activities.
