PESHAWAR: The election for new office bearers of Peshawar Press Club (PCC) successfully concluded as the members elected senior journalist Arshad Aziz Malik as body’s President while Rizwan Shiekh was elected as Vice President, said a statement issued from PPC on Sunday.
Irfan Musazai, Tayyib Usman and Ammad Waheed were elected as General Secretary, Joint Secretary and Finance Secretary respectively.
Other newly-elected members of the governing body are Shamim Shahid, Saiful Islam Saifi, Aneela Shaheen, Ibrahim Khan, Ameer Moavia, Nabi Jan, Fiaz Ahmed, Imran Ayaz, Nasir Dawar, Zafar Iqbal and Iftikhar Firdusand.
Large number of Peshawar-based journalists cast vote
The PCC elections were held on 31 December where a large number of Peshawar-based journalists voted and elected a new cabinet of PPC. – APP
